What Tax ID is required in order to file Minnesota Form M4?

All Minnesota Corporations are assigned a tax ID that is the seven-digit number when a corporation is registered with the department.

Minnesota Department of Revenue requires that a corporation to include the Minnesota tax ID on the tax return so that any payments made are properly credited to correct account. If a corporation does not have a Minnesota tax ID, it can apply for one online at Minnesota Department of Revenue or call 651‑282-5225 or 1-800-657-3605.
