Liquefied Petroleum Gas

Hi

The company I work for has bought two trucks that run on LPG.

The trucks are 2000 GMC 6500, use to transport heavy equipment.

We would like to know if there is any tax benefits for using LPG.

I cannot find anything in the existing tax code that would provide you with any tax benefits or tax credits for using LPG! I suspect the tax incentives are provided at the producer level and passed onto you the consumer through price savings.

I did notice that using LPG on vehicles in other countries does yield direct tax benefits and credits to the consumer, that is, you the trucking company.
