Worked in Multiple States

This is my first year filing my own taxes in many years. My taxes are pretty simple or should be. I have had only one employer in 2014, however, I moved from Indiana to Colorado the first week of 2014. I only worked in CO for 3 weeks of 2014.

I'm doing my taxes online with HR Block. My questions:

1. Do I need to fill out more than one return since I worked and lived in 2 states or do they go by the majority worked/lived in a specific state?

2. I paid a relative for rent. I don't have a lease. Do I need to provide proof of rent?

I only have one W2 so it should be straightforward.
