Multiple filings, multiple accountants?

Hi everyone,

First, thank you for helping me with this tax question. Here we go:

I am a 1099 contractor who recently opened a separate business (LLC) last year.

Traditionally, my dad's accountant has handled my taxes. My dad and I go every year and we handle our mutual taxes together. It's like a tradition.

Anyway, I don't want my dad knowing about my LLC just yet (it's very new and I'm keeping things very close to the chest at this point).

Would it be possible to have my dad's accountant handle just my 1099/contractor taxes, and go to another accountant (ex. my business partner's accountant) to handle the LLC?

Thanks for the help!
