LSW LLC? Florist business set up?

Happy New Year Everyone.

What is the best business structure set up for a psychologist who is starting her own business in NY?

What is the best business structure for a New Florist? Should they incorporate?

Please advise. Thanks and have a great day.

Sincerely,
Rosa

I guess sitting down with an attorney and your accountant is probably the best way to sort through the tax and organizational ramifications and figure out what's right for a psychologist/ a florist. That said, there are ways to cut corners. aslongas you feel competent, you can incorporate your biz or form an SMLLC OR A SOLE PROPRIETORSHIP on your own. It requires checking with NYS corporate filing office (usually the Secretary of State or the Corporations Commissioner) and filling out forms available at the filing office or available from commercial publishers. For business tax and licensing information about your NYS, You may visit NYS Division of Corporations, State Records and UCC
