Section 179 Carry-Forward

I have a client that has a $300k section 179 carryover to 2014. They have about $500k of net income this year. Assuming that the section 179 laws remain unchanged, can they use the carry forward for the entire $300k amount, plus the 25k section 179 for 2014 to offset their taxable income? Or is this limited to only the 25k under current law?
