Repair expenses reimbursed by insurance

If you receive insurance proceeds for water/mold damage at a rental property and you use all the proceeds to return the property to its original condition, do you just omit the insurance proceeds and associated expenses from the rental schedule E? Is there a time limit for finishing the work? Thank you.
