How many Individual Income Tax Rates does Rhode Island State have for Tax Year 2008?

For the Tax Year 2008, Rhode Island State has only 1 tax rate bracket and that is at a flat rate of 25.00% of the Federal Tax Liability.

However, Rhode Island State does provide its individual taxpayers with an option of computing their tax liability based on a flat 7.0% (which will increase to 6.5% in 2009) of gross income.

Furthermore, this State does not provide any personal exemptions to any of its individual taxpayers irrespective of their filing status.
