Please help!

Hi, my boyfriend pays 220.00 per week to child support for his children, he pays it to the d.o.r. Can he claim that money

sorry no unless he pays alimony;aslongas you are paying child support, the payments cannot be deducted from your income. If you are applying for government assistance, you can deduct your child support obligation. Alimony payments made can be deducted from your income when filing taxes.
