PLEASE HELP re: Tax Topic 152

My return was accepted on 1/25/14, Got TT #152 and in addition to listing 3 different refund options it reads ""Even though the IRS issues most refunds in less than 21 days, it’s possible your tax return may require review and take longer" at the bottom despite filing a normal itemized single status return. I'm screwed right?"

The IRS doesn’t process your return until JAn 31 2014;I guess it normally is not an issue, but you need to make sure you included all your statements in your refund. For example, if you did not include a 1099-int in your return, the IRS may flag your return for review. So, you need to add up all your w-2's / 1099's and make sure all of them made it on the return.

you also need to check is if you had any numbers that were out of the norm. Like a huge charitable contribution, office expense or medical expenses that you are writing off on sch A. you can contact the irs for sure~
