IRS extends tax filing deadline in 2011 to April 17th!

This year, the deadline for filing your federal tax return is April 17. Taxpayers would be fortunate to get an extra two days to file because April 15 is a Sunday and April 16 is Emancipation Day, which is a legal holiday in the District of Columbia, which by federal law also affects federal tax deadlines in the same way as federal holiday's!
