Foreign Income

I worked part year in USA and part year in Australia . In Australia they deducted the tax about 35% at source . I have to file taxes in USA . do i file taxes on whole USA and Australia income ,and if yes . The australia income is net income plus taxes is gross income . Do i pay Taxes in usa on australia gross income or net income . If i pay on gross that means i m paying tax on taxes i paid in australia .Hope u will be able to follow my dilemma . Thanks
