Question work food deductions

Hi I am in the process of filing my taxes and had a specific question regarding food deductions while at work. I recently talked to some coworkers that claim food at work as a deduction. I work as a paramedic on an ambulance and am not allowed to bring food from home(health codes while in the ambulance) and often eat out due to the nature of my job. While at work I work 24 hour shifts and do not have any additional dining options. Do you know is this correct? How much can I claim a day(2007 tax year)? Do I need to save the food receipts? Thankyou much.
