What States have the highest Sales Taxes?

Most States impose some sort of Sales Taxes on all taxable items, but there are some states that impose the highest Sales Taxes. The following list shows the top 9 States with the highest sales tax as follows;
  1. California (8.75%),
  2. Indiana (7%),
  3. Mississippi (7%),
  4. New Jersey (7%),
  5. Rhode Island (7%),
  6. Tennessee (7%),
  7. Minnesota (6.875%),
  8. Nevada (6.85%),
  9. Washington (6.5%).
