I need help with a tax question asap

First thanks for reading my question. First my 2014 & 2015 returns were just completed. I thought they were done but they were not do to family issues. We are getting refunds on all 3. I did my taxes with an online service like this site offers. When i e-filed our 2016 return it was rejected saying the AGI was needed. My question is that I listed it but I assume the irs may take 2 weeks or more to input my pass 2 returns. Do i need to wait for my 2015 return is up dated?? Whay do i need to do? Can i e-file it (2016) or should i mail it in. Im perplexed. Thanks again

If your efiled federal tax return was rejected, be aware that this rejection is the result of the IRS system.so basically you need to wait or if yu want you can contact the IRS for more info in detail. Usually, it just requires a simple correction of the AGI number.

Whay do i need to do? Can i e-file it (2016) or should i mail it in. Im perplexed.=========>> Did you amend your 2015 tax return? If so then you may be entering the wrong AGI. You must enter the AGI from your original 2015 tax return.
once you amended your tax return last year , then you need to make sure you are using your AGI from your original tax return, not the amended return. If the only form you have is the 1040X, this would be line 1, column A
