Can a taxpayer go directly to the IRS to receive the transcripts from Form 4506-T?

Yes, the taxpayer may go directly to the IRS to retreive the Transcripts using Form 4506-T. but, this process could take anywhere between 6 to 60 days to receive the data from the IRS.

Sometimes, it may be preferable to approach some online service firm that speed this process.
