SCORP State filings

I have a consulting company (SCORP) registered in CA.

I have consulting income in NJ, NY and IA and also employees there. No establishments or offices.

Do I have to file returns in these states? I am pretty sure I need to file in IOWA as the instructions clearly state "any income derived in IOWA".

Can you help me with NY and NJ?

Thanks

You must be first registered to do business in these states. Also, it appears that you would be required to file a corporation tax return for all the states that you have mentioned as you have the apportionment factors of both income and employees for those states.

If you need help in filing your taxes, I suggest that you visit our Services tab and fill out the necessary information and one of our staff will contact you.
