Qualifying relative income

Hello. I have a son that is 25 years old. He live with me. I provided much more than a half of his total support in 2014. My son made $ 5,420 in 2014 (W-2). However he spent $ 1,588 on tuition and student loan interest. Can I claim him as a dependant in my 2014 tax return based on his AGI? Thanks

sorry no. his gross income of $5,420 is higher than $3950 for 2014.I mean since your son earned MORE than his personal exemption amount during the year. For 2014, this means the child earned more than $3,950
