Living and working in different states-what do I File?

We were illinois residents, but my husband took a job in Ohio and has worked the entire year there. We decided not to move our family there, so I live in illinois with our kids, and he lives in Ohio and comes home on the weekends, when possible. I have no income, and all of our income was earned in Ohio. Do we still need to file an illinois return? Do we need to file as a resident or non-resident in Ohio? We own a house in illinois, and rent an apartment in Ohio.

Do we need to file as a resident or non-resident in Ohio? ===>>>>>>>As there is no Reciprocal Agreements between Ohio and Illinois,
NOT you, but only your spouse needs to file his return with Ohio as a NON-resident of Ohio and claim his tax paid to Ohio to Illinois.
