Dissolving timeline

Hello,

I filed for dissolving a technically inactive NJ s-corp in oct 2013. There was no revenue and no tax payments last year. Despite repeated calls to NJ state, the tax clearance was issued only in Feb. Can anybody help with these questions:
1) Do I file final returns for 2013 or do I need to now file a return for 2014 as well ?
2) Do I need to pay the state franchise fees for 2014 ?
3) If dissolution date is the filing date, what do I do with corp expenses esp accounting/tax filing expenses. Can I include them in the final return ?(FY 2013 returns with expenses incurred in 2014) ?

I get the feeling the state intentionally delayed my filing. There is nothing in the company - no income, no payroll and being s-corp no corp taxes as well.

Thanks
