"other" State & local taxes

I'm in New Mexico-

For the last three years I've used an online tax prep site, and when I entered my state income tax to deduct I only entered it once in one place. However when the form was submitted the amount was listed as income tax & "other income and local taxes" (it was essentially doubled). This year it didn't do that. Am I doing something wrong this year, or was it wrong the entire time?
