Taxes being reviewed

I've just received a letter from the state of Wisconsin DOR stating that my EIC claim is under review. Does this mean that more than likely my federal return will be reviewed as well? Also, I was previously married and we had two children together. In the divorce decree it states that we will each claim one child on our tax return. We have joint custody but she would be considered the custodial parent because they are not with me more than 6 months out of the year. I am all up to date on my child support and currently pay $823/month. Is there any reason I should be worried that my return will be denied?
