1099MISC- self-employeed

My husband and I separated late last year. We own a small business together that he has retained control over during the divorce. He has sent me a 1099 MISC for 20,000 under 'nonemployee contributions'. He never paid me and any money taken from the business was for the family. I've never received a 1099 MISC in the past and never received any kind of payments for my work with the business. How should I handle this? Should I contact the IRS? Report it on my taxes or ignore it?
