Are Social Security benefits taxable for New Jersey gross income tax purposes?

As far as New Jersey Tax Law is concerned, the answer is no, "Federal Social Security benefits are not subject to New Jersey income tax and should not be included on the New Jersey return."

Furthermore, NJ State requires that "Social Security should not be reported on the property tax credit application, Form NJ-1040-H."
