Does hiring a Tax Attorney help more than hiring a CPA during a Tax Audit?

I have a question for you Taxguru or any other Tax Expert. Would having a Tax Attorney help in the event of an IRS audit versus having a CPA or Enrolled Tax Agent representing you for the tax audit.

Clearly, the Tax Attorney is very expensive and I would save on hiring a CPA or an Enrolled Tax Agent. But, does anybody have an experience to share where hiring a tax attorney has helped considerably more than hiring a CPA or an Enrolled Agent.

Thanks for your help.
