Changed from sole proprieter to LLC

About half way through 2007 - I became an LLC. My "company" is just me, I am a freelancer, located in Wisconsin.
Does this change anything impacting my taxes? Is it different from being a sole proprietor when it comes to taxes?

Thanks in advance-
Shawna
