My W-2 Box 1 and 2 are blank?

I received my w-2 and noticed that my Boxes 1 and 2 are totally blank. Any particular reason why would this be?
Thanks
G

“Any particular reason why would this be?”---->Box 1 of your W2 to be blank is wrong UNLESS you get paid $0; even though your employer doesn’t withhold your federal and state income taxes, Box 1 of W2 shouldn’t be blank. No reasonable reason to leave box 1 blank. Box 1 of your W-2 even has no correlation to withholding allowances claimed on your W-4 Form. You need to contact a supervisor at the payroll department.
Box 2 of your W2 to be blank means that your employer didn't withhold any federal income tax from your paychecks, and may have to pay it, depending on your grossincome. As long as your gross income is under $9350 and you are not a dependent of another person, no federal tax withholding is required.
However, if you are claimed as a dependent of another person, then the gross income level drops to $5700; as a dependent of another person, you need to pay tax as your gross income exceeds $5,700.Your employer have to withhold our FICA Taxes on your gross income, but federal depends on your exemptions. You can submit an adjusted W-4, so your employer starts withholding your federal and state taxes.
