As part of my estate planning I am trying to write a Will. Should I be concerned of any specific issues if I am a resident of New Jersey?

Actually the will has 4 essential elements according to estate attorney's. The first one is that the will must have been executed with testamentary capacity, The testator must be capable to have a testamentary, the execution must be down of testators own free will without the influence of others and lastly it must be duly executed.
