Purchase home from Grandmother's Estate

I am in the process of purchasing a home from my deceased Grandmother's Estate in which my father, uncle and two aunts are the beneficiaries. Do I qualify for the homebuyer tax credit? I have yet to find a clear answer on this one... I have heard: "Yes, you will qualify because you are not a beneficiary of her estate" and "No, you will not qualify because you are still purchasing the home from a family member". Which is it? Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
kellyo
