Working from home

I have worked from home since 2006 but have never claimed anything on my taxes for it. I know I have tried (through turbo tax) to claim it every now and then but it never made a difference in my refund so I figured it was pointless to keep it on there but want to know if I really should be including it.

I work from home except for 2 days a month (at the most) where I drive to the company. so I figure that is about 90%. I own my own home so was trying to include some of that on the decutions (interest paid, etc) but because I refinanced last year Turbo tax was asking me which mortgage company to use even though they were both from the same house. Is this right?

The other thing I am questioning is that because I refinanced, can I include some of the charges that were rolled into my loan in my taxes? Such as the property taxes that were partly paid through my refinance?
