A while ago, 1998/99 time frame I purchase an ADR of a foreign telecom. Since then the company split into several smaller parts, some of which were a company in name only, parts ceased to exist and recently other parts did a reverse stock split causing a forced sale of some of the company stock. I know I did not do a good job keeping tabs on this, but now have to deal with the mess.

There are only 2 good things here: was not a huge amount of money lost and I still have the original purchase invoice. I noted on the invoice the 6 different company ticker acronym. How do I figure the cost basis? I did not get equal number of shares in each company when the split occurred.
