Regarding Student Loan Interest Deduction for International Student

Hi,

I graduated in 2017 and started working on OPT with a company, I am paying my student loans borrowed from Indian Bank to complete my Masters education at a State University.

As an International Student, am I allowed to use the Student Loan Interest deduction? If so what are the supporting documents I will be needing to file when tax returns? Should I be including any Bank statements?

Thanks!!
