error on form 1096

In doing my business taxes, I realized that I had an error on my form 1096. I file form 1099 misc forms for everyone I do payments to over the year, but due to a glitch that put the tic off-center, the form had printed with a check in box 1099 OID. The number of forms I sent in and the total amount and everything on all of the misc forms I sent in (47 of them) was all correct, and they were all clearly 1099 misc forms. I have not heard back from the IRS that there was a problem, nor from anyone I sent the forms to, many of whom file very early. Should I send an amended 1096? Should I assume whoever received my package with all of the documents noticed the obvious error and corrected it so the 1096 matched the documents attached to it?
