Question 17 and supporting my younger siblings

Im 18 now but i was 17 as of dec.31,2016.
I worked for cash all year in 2016. I supported my two younger brothers because my mom wont keep a job and support them herself.
Anyways i recieved a 1099 misc.showing how much i was paid for the year which was $12,500. But no taxes were deducted. Can i file and report this income and claim my little brothers and get the eitc?? Since i supported them all last year.
