Re-investing capital gains from a "start-up"

I received a payout from a "start-up" company which was bought by another company. Within 30 days I reinvested into another "start-up" company. Isn't there a tax form to alleviate the tax consequences of the payout (because it was invested in another like company)? Both investments were made into small pharmaceutical/medical implement companies.
Any info is appreciated!
