Employer sent 1099 to incorrect LLC Address

My employer sent my 1099 to an incorrect address and as a result I asked they send me a scanned copy. LLC address listed on the 1099 is Florida and not the correct address in Illinois. What should I expect the Employer to do as it pertain to the IRS? Do they have to amend something? What do I have to do, if anything, when filing electronically? The EIN# and compensation are correct on it.

Thanks!

So IL does not care what it says on your 1099-MISC. Also, FL does not have an income tax, so it does not matter. Obviously you need to report it on SCh C of 1040 the fed income tax and presumably IL will match your SSN on your filing against what information they have.
As long as your EIN is correct, there is nothing to worry about.

Thanks...Your response was very helpful. Brings up another question. Regarding income from another state (Florida) and the LLC residing in Illinois...Since Florida does not have income tax will I pay FULL taxes on income to Illinois? I know I would receive a credit ordinarily from Illinois in taxes paid to Florida if they were an income taxing state. Never have done business in an income tax exempt state before. Thank you!

yes; as said no i ncome taz in FL so you did not pay any tax to the staste of FL on your 1099 income, so no need to claim credit on your IL return on any tax paid to FL.
