Own a duplex, rented a room to tenant, we both moved out and now renting entire duplex.

I own a duplex, and I rented out the top half , completely no worries there.

The question I have is, I lived in the bottom unit as my primary and rented out a room. I depreciated that room for 2 years, then the roommate and I both moved out and now I want to rent out the bottom unit completely to new tenants and depreciate that.

The issue here is that I already depreciated the room when I was living with a roommate. How do I proceed with the already taken depreciation? Do i just keep a record of the rented room depreciation and start with a new in service date when I rent the bottom unit to new tenants?
