In which states do I need to file a return

I live in Florida. I own a Florida partnership. That partnership owns a share of a partnership in Tennessee. That partnership owns and runs a piece of property in Georgia. I know that I need to file a 1065 for my Florida Partnership and I must file a partnership return for the state of Florida. Do I need to file: a Tennessee State personal return? a Georgia State personal return? Does my Florida Partnership need to file in Tennessee and/or Georgia?

Additionally I own a share of a partnership that is in Tennessee. That Partnership owns a share of a partnership in Tennessee. That partnership owns and operates a piece of property in Georgia. For this activity, do I need to file a Tennessee State personal return? a Georgia State personal return?

Tennessee has no income tax but does have a "hall tax" that is, a 6% tax on interest and dividends, which is specifically allowed by the state constitution. then you can claim taxes paid to GA as GA nonresidents on your federal return as there is no income tax in Florida.
Generally you would have to file a return in each state where the llc is doing business.

Does my Florida Partnership need to file in Tennessee and/or Georgia? =========>>correct. As the partnership has nexus with GA/Tennessee the ownership interest in that partnership will create nexus in the states for the llc. A taxpayer, llc, has nexus with other states if the taxpayer has a physical presence in the states for a period of more than 1 day during the tax year ; the taxpayer actively solicits sales in the states and has the states sourced gross receipts, or if the taxpayer has an ownership interest or a beneficial interest in a flow-through entity, directly, or indirectly through 1 or more other flow-through entities, that has nexus in the states. you can check it with your LLC for more info in detail.
