Filing for Working Student

My college aged daughter attended school last year and worked but only earned $8900 for the year. I supported her etc Can I file for her on my taxes?

It depends; aslongas she is a full time student is either under age 24,then yes she is your dependent on your return.

So if i claim her on my taxes does she still file her taxes and claim that she is a dependent of someone? I don't want either of us to have an issue.

no she can not be claimed twice by you and another taxpayer.she can file her own return as your dependent to claim her refund so on;howeve she can not claim her personal exmptionof $3950 for 2014.
