I finished law school in May 2014. I technically paid tuition for that semester in November 2013. Therefore my 1098-T for 2014 is blank in box 2 (Amounts billed for qualified tuition and related expenses). Am I completely ineligible for the lifetime learning credit? When using an online tax return program i entered all my Bar study course expenses etc, which did not increase my return. any ideas or suggestions?

fBetween the Bar study course, bar application, and books for the 2014 semester i probably spent close to $4,000.00.
