Early 401k distribution - Just after moving

At the beginning of 2014, I lived in Iowa. On 4/1/14, I moved to Virginia. In August, I took an early total distribution on an old 401k to help with getting a new house.

I'm using TAXACT, and it looks like according to Iowa, I need to pay Iowa taxes on the distribution even though I didn't take it until a few months after I moved away. Is this correct, and if so, do I still also have to pay VA taxes on it?

Thanks for any help with this.
