Tax credit for college

I am starting college next month and am trying to figure out weather I should do the tuition reimbursment my employer offers. I will be paying $5670 in tuition and get reimbursed $3780. My question is if I accept the 3780 in reimbursment can I claim the other $1890 on my taxes or do I lose the credit accepting any tuition reimbursment?
