Angry Large deduction trigerring AMT

I had to buy tail insurance coverage (medical liability insurance) after leaving my last employer. When applying the cost as deduction under job expense it triggered the AMT and as a result the total tax benefit for taking this deduction is gone. Is it possible to spread this deduction in future years? Tail insurance coverages are for future years anyways.
