Do you favor the abolishment of the AMT tax?

You cannot just eliminate the AMT tax!! Its going to increase the budget deficit by a couple of 100 billion dollars! Where are you going to replace the lost revenue???

It means that the Middle Class would once again have to pay more in taxes! Are you all ready for another round of tax increase??? I think not!!

I agree 100% with most of you, in that this Atrocious Tax must either be done away with or changed or modified!

I hope that you send the results of this Poll to Congress!

Dear Taxguru,

Now that I have voted, I encourage everyone to cast their vote, and Taxguru, please forward the results of your Polls to Congress so that they can act upon the wishes from its citizens.

Thanks..

I don't think there is an alternative way to raise tax revenue if Congress abolishes the AMT tax! This is more like Hobson's choice...No way out of this mess...ie Budget Deficit would widen considerably if AMT is abolished!

You can abolish AMT over a 5 year period and find an alternative source of revenue or cut Government spending!

About time, Congress was taught a lesson in balancing a budget....
