Why Is The IRS late this year?

I mean Come On. I am the ERO, and they even late on mine. Thats not good.

not very sure. However, one possibility is for some filers this year, early tax return will be delayed because of new laws designed to stop identity theft.since identity theft related to taxes has exploded. In order to reduce possible losses from identity theft, Congress passed a law that forces the IRS to delay issuing refunds for people claiming certain deductions

I understand the IRS has to delay some refunds but when only 2 customers out of 150 have been funded, and those were reduced and each has been over 9 weeks since filing but the IRS won't say why something is Wrong.
