Do I need to file the it-360i for NY?

The instructions were both unclear and somewhat conflicting on the it360i, and the it203 (I assume the tax gurus know what these are, and so won't bother describing them lol), so I'd like to ask the forum whether I need to file the former.
So in 2018:
Lived in Michigan from approx 14 Jan to 28 Apr
Lived in NYC from approx 30 Aug to 21 Dec
Earned 0 income in NYC, but some income (small amt) in Michigan

I'm an F1 Int'l student, currently studying in NYC

Please reply if more information is needed for my case!
Thanks!
