Technical Termination of LLC being treated as an S-Corp

I understand if an LLC member is being taxed as a partnership and sells more than 50% interest in a 12 month period the LLC would technically terminate.

Would an LLC that is being taxed as an S-Corp also technically terminate if one member sold more than 50% interest?
