I was wanting to know if my husband ex can claim their daughter on her taxes and get the child earned income if she only get hers her every 1st, 3rd and 4th weekend and the summer. she doesn't support her at all we have her from august first till a week after school gets out. the court order says they have joint custody and she can claim her on odd years but it never said anything about the earned income for her. she doesn't help pay for her school clothes or anything. she not with her mom for half of the year maybe 4 months at the most the whole year and im counting the weekends in that. please note they were never married.
