Have 1 W2 for work in NJ that wages were reported to both states, but only with-held NJ taxes.
Have 1 W2 for work in NY, PA, IL, WI, and CA with CT and NY taxes with-held; mostly CT taxes and both states have the total wages reported.
If I enter W2 info into state tax returns as they are listed on the W2's, I owe NY taxes that I should not have. I also have no taxes for states I worked in. This is my first year working on a traveling TV show, and I cannot find any tax guidelines for that type of business. |
Lived in CT entire 2014 year, worked for TV production company in CA.-------->I assume that you are a full year resident of CT,in this case, as a non resident of CA , since there is no reciprocal Agreements between CA and CT, you must pay tax to CA BOE on your CA source income and claim CA tax paid to CA BOE on your CT return as a full year resident of CT.
