How Do I Put Future Employee on SS-4 Form for EIN?

I am filling out the SS-4 for an EIN for my startup. Currently the startup only has one person, the officer myself. I am not planning to pay myself any salary in the first few years. Am I considered an employee for Line 13?

I am planning to hire a full-time programmer near the end of this year. What should I put in Line 15 (notice that it uses "were" in the title)?

If the planned salary for the programmer is 100K a year, but by year end he will have probably only made 10k for a month or so. In line 14 is it Yes or No?

Thank you very much.

#1;Aslongas you are forming an S corp, you need to pay yourself W2 income subject to FICA taxes aslong as your S corp generates ordinary income and yiou are treated an an owner/an EE, so you should be an owner/an EE.if you are forming a sole proprietorship, then, do not check it UNLESS you have an EE to whom you should issue a W2.

#2;actually, you didn’t pay wages to an EEas you did not have an EE. So,you need to enter the date on which your business begin to pay wages to the EE.

#3;it depends on the amount of employment tax that you pay to the irs; If you expect your employment tax liability to be $1k or less in a full calendar year, you are eligible to file Form 944 annually;then yes.if it exceeds $1k in a full calendar year then, no; employment tax means FICA taxes, SUTA, or FUTA taxes/Federal /state Income Tax

For #1, my company is a c-corp.

For #2, though I plan to hire a programmer this year, I am not sure when exactly. Do I just put an estimated date there, for example end of the year?

Thank you very much.
